This will be our second season for the ORCC/GLPUC Balloon Fest. The GLPUC Group will be camping at Cole Creek, a Corp of Engineers Campground a few miles south of Boulder. We will be located at various locations around the first loop, the full hook up area across from the swimming beach. I will reserve a shelter for the Saturday potluck held before the Saturday Evening Balloon Glow.

We are definitely going again this year. We had a great time last year. Catworker, is there a website to go to for registration and see the campground layout? Do you know the link?

Mike, we will be reserving as soon as the reservation window opens up. If there is a site that you are fond of let me know and I will leave it for you if I would happen to book before you do.

Look forward to camping with you again.

Kim and I are looking forward to this trip. Which loop is everyone going to be at? Kim has been looking on the site and we are going for one of the lake side sites. Looks like there is plenty of sites right off of the lake. We don't really need full hook-up with sewer. Electric is all we need. The sites I was looking at have 50 amp service. So does this mean I need one of those adapters?

GLPUC will be camping in the first loop, sites 1 through 35. Most of these sites are full hook up, some are water and electric. Personally I'm going for a full hook up site near the water.

Hey Jeff, when I booked Alley Springs it said on Rec.gov's site that you needed an adapter, that was Alley Springs though. But I bet it is the same at Cole Creek. Being as they are both federal government campgrounds.

I also would like a spot on the water. But like Jeff I only need electric.

There are many electric sites on the water front. However, they are located in the first come first serve area. Come early.

If memory serves me correctly, a few months ago, I read on a site somewhere that all Corp of Engineer campgrounds were converting to 50 amp hook ups. I remember tell my DW at the time we were going to have to purchase an adapter. If it seems like I'm rambling, remember, I'm a member of the over 50 club.
