Katy Trail Bicycle Ride
Come Ride With Us For The Day!
Date:October 3rd, 2009
Location: Meet up at the Katy Bike Trail in Augusta, Mo. Time:8:30 AM Mileage: 7.7 Miles + 7.7 Miles (Total Of 15.4 Miles)
We will park our cars at the Katy Trail parking lot in Augusta. Bicycle west to the town of Dutzow. Explore the Blumenhof Vineyards and Winery, have a picnic lunch at Blumenhof.
After lunch, we will bicycle east on the Katy Trail and spend the afternoon/evening exploring the charm of Augusta, MO.

We just took our first trail bike ride today close to home and had no idea it would be so much fun we rode 16 miles in a little over two hours We quickly discovered we need much larger bike seats and we should've used sunscreen. We are hooked and ready to ride all over MO on our bikes. If we can we would love to make this trip. Sounds like fun

Kim and I have rode the trail from Green Bottom road trail head to Defiance before. I believe it was about 12 miles. We have this one penciled in on the calendar
