ORCC/Bass Pro Outdoor Festival - 2009


We will be attending the first meeting for the 2009 ORCC/Bass Pro Outdoor event in Springfield, MO. There will be a Power-Point Presentation with photos and info about our 2008 event.

Date: Tuesday, January 13th
Location: Uncle Bucks Auditorium (Springfield, MO.)
Lunch: Will be provided

We are starting to plan the 2009 events and this will be just one of many events, if you think your interested and would like to attend this meeting please PM or Email us by the end of the day Friday 01/09/09.

I'm going to try to attend this year, but no guarantees. It sounds like fun. That's soccer season and it looks like I might be coaching not just Shaun's team but Nick's team also this year. The soccer schedule doesn't come out until late August. I went to school in Springfield at SMSU (now Missouri State) and used to hang out a lot at Lake Springfield. I always took visitors to Bass Pro too.

ORCC/Bass Pro Event Up-Date


I want to give you an up-date on the Bass Pro Fall Festival, especially if this is your first time coming to this event. The event is held at Lake Springfield in Springfield, Missouri.

Exhibits and Activities FREE to the Public!!
Clinics and Special Activities Available – Registration & Fee Required.

Note: You will see under Clinics & Special Activities, Family Camping Friday October 16th - Saturday October 17th a camping fee is charged. This does not apply to us, Camping Is FREE that weekend for all ORCC members and Guests.

Show Dates & Times:
Saturday, October 17th Time: 9:30 AM to 4 PM
Sunday, October 18th Time: 12 Noon to 4 PM

We will be down at the park on Friday. If you arrive late on Friday the entrance gates may be locked. You can call us on our cell phone, we will have a key to open the gates. Please make note of the cell number in case you need our help with directions or to open the gates if need be. (314) 852-5101

When you come into Lake Springfield Park follow the main road all the way down to the lake area, you will see the boat house on your right and the entrance to the camp area on your left, go through the gates, up the hill, you will see the park pavilion, you can set up camp in that area. If you have any questions, there will be someone there to help you.
