On my trip to Atlanta I was able to use my new pack for the first time. While I didn't actually do a great deal of hiking, the pack handled the 8 day trip with ease. It is a High Sierra Sport Company Sentinel 65 Backpack.
It was roomy enough for all I needed and made the multiple trips in and out of various buildings and up and down stairs much easier than a traditional suitcase, plus it freed my hands to carry other items. The weight of the fully loaded pack is evenly distributed and rides well. Actually it was very comfortable and felt like I could wear it all day. I really look forward to using it out on the trails.
If anyone is interested in this pack, let me know and I will write an actual review and list the features and how I tend to use them.
