Welcome aboard, looking forward to camping with you and your family. In November we will be posting the 2012 events and hopefully the new home page to the ORCC website will be up and running... We are working on it! ;D
If you have any questions, feel free to give us a shout anytime.
We are glad you decided to join our family
Thanks & Welcome,

Hello everyone, My name is Heather i am 18 and my friends name is Melissa, we love the out doors, and want to explore the usa. we love camping and everything about nature. We cant wait to meet all of you. ;D
Ted here...love the outdoors but not really into blood sucking bugs or heat! Who agrees? Anyway, I have a kayak and don't get much time to use it so here I am...seeking groups because I can do Simpson and Creve Couer Lakes so much. HELP! I like tent camping and work at a non-profit and grocery store part=time. Anyway, wanted to drop a "HELLO" and introduce myself. Got questions...let me know.
I am bfmoon, I have lurked here a few times. I live in Iowa and love to camp! I will be glad to have another place to talk camping. We are also beginning hikers, me more than the rest of the family lol. We all need the exercise though!
I just became a member of this forum today and wanted to share my excitement. I love camping on the coast and in National Parks. The wife and I usually camp alone simple because we can go places when we want without consulting a group of people.
I joined this forum because yesterday I ordered a new Cargo Pac Tentrax Trailer and added a Tent and Bed to it. Should arrive about 4 to 6 weeks.
Worked with George on the Deal. He is the owner Tentrax and is a real nice guy when it comes to customer service. He was very helpful and interested in making sure I get what I'm looking for in a trailer. Not a pushy sales person that is just interested in getting his commission. George offers helpful advice and tips too. Its a great product. I have seen them for years and now its my turn to own one.
Did I mention that the best part is that George is offering free engel refrigerator freezers with a new tentrax. I did just now.
My name is Dan and my girlfriend is Carly, hence our creative user name. We just recently moved to St. Louis from Illinois and are glad we found this website. We have kayaks and have been exploring locally on the Meremac river over the past summer as well as some time down at Council Bluff Lake. We also enjoy backpacking and so far have found Bell Mountain to be our favorite Missouri hike we've done. We enjoy just about anything outdoors whether its hiking, camping, backpacking, fishing, hunting, etc...
We look forward to actively participating and getting involved in some of the events.

We signed up looking to get in on some events and learn about some places to go to for some family fun. We are just across the border in Illinois, just about three miles from the dam west boat ramp at Carlyle Lake. If you see this truck then you've seen us.

Thanks for the warm welcome, things are settling down for us and we really love to just "go." And now that we have a three year old we hope to show as much of it as possible before it gets closed off or worse, paved over.
I'd enjoy showing the truck to you as I know that the Flippac is somewhat of a rarity this far east. We really enjoy ours and plan to keep it for a very long time. And we look forward to seeing the event schedule so we can sort out what we can attend.
